Here, like-minded families and trusted professionals come together, creating a supportive space built on meaningful programming, trusted resources, and shared growth for the whole family.
We are a membership-based community where learning, care, and connection happen within family life — not apart from it.
The name Shared Ground reflects three things we hold at the center of everything we do:
We believe children and parents grow best side by side, held by connection, curiosity, and the everyday rhythms that shape a family's life together.
Families and professionals are joined by common values, walking alongside one another in support, trust, and connection throughout every stage.
Shared Community
and Common Values
Our seasonal framework allows children of different ages, and the parents raising them, to move through the same experience together, each meeting it at their own depth.

The Grounds We Share
Meet
Brittany
Meet
Christa
Brittany’s vision for Shared Ground Society was shaped first and foremost by her experience as a mother to 3 boys.
As a mom to a neurodivergent child, she found herself navigating a fragmented landscape of providers, educational options, resources, and communities, often struggling to find the right professionals and support for her family as a whole. That experience sparked a deeper passion for wellness, alternative education, and community building.
After beginning her career as a real estate attorney, Brittany ultimately chose to pursue that passion and create something more connected and intentional. Shared Ground grew from her belief that families should not have to navigate learning, wellness, and support alone but should instead have access to enriching opportunities, trusted professionals, and meaningful relationships within one supportive community.
Brittany is currently studying for her herbalism certificate and is also the founder of Rising Sky Academy, a private school that will be launching in Fall 2027.
Christa wholeheartedly joined the Shared Ground mission, bringing her perspective as a mother, creative, and lifelong seeker to help grow the vision.
Motherhood became a profound turning point for Christa, shifting her perspective on parenting from something that simply changes your life to a deeply spiritual journey.
Her parenting philosophy is rooted in intuition—trusting her inner knowing to guide her decisions while honoring each child as their own soul. She is also fiercely committed to bringing back rites of passage as children move through key developmental thresholds.
A lifelong creative, Christa built her career in graphic design and marketing before becoming a certified Shamanic Astrologer. Her studies in the Sacred Feminine and Shamanic Astrology continue to shape the way she approaches parenting her daughter and womanhood.
Through Shared Ground Society, Christa is creating the kind of community she wants for her own family: one that honors the way childhood and parenting are meant to unfold, without being dictated by modern expectations.
so they set out to create the kind of community they wanted their own children to grow up in, one that tends to the roots as much as it does growth.
About the founders
Rooted in sisterhood and shaped by their own experiences as parents and professionals, Brittany and Christa created Shared Ground Society from a shared question: what if families had a place where connection, care and learning could all exist under one roof?
In a time of constant stimulation, mounting pressure, and shrinking space for rest, connection, and belonging, they felt a pull to build the kind of community families often struggle to find: one rooted in rhythm rather than rush, in relationship rather than isolation.
